Amsterdam– September 26, 2023 – Ahriman: Death Before Dying, the fantasy film directed by Mani Nickpour, has won a Septimius Award at the Septimius Awards, Amsterdam 2023.
Dutch film Ahriman: Death Before Dying by Mani Nickpouri has been nominated for three Septimius Awards, which include Best Director, Best Costume Design, and Best Makeup & Hairstyling.
At the Netherlands’ International Theater Amsterdam, it achieved victory in the category of Best Makeup & Hairstyling at the Netherlands’ International Theater Amsterdam during the awards ceremony held on September 26th, 2023.
Ahriman: Death Before Dying – Best Makeup & Hairstyling
Director Mani Nickpour expressed his profound gratitude, stating: “Creating “Ahriman: Death Before Dying” was a labor of love for our entire team. Ahriman: Death Before Dying is directed by Mani Nickpour and stars Saeid Nickpour, Juliet Cannegieter, Olena Uutai, Lavinia Meijer, and Grimes. Previously, the film had its world premiere at the 2023 edition of the Paris Fantasy Film Fesitval (winner Best feature) and then made its way to Kanazawa Film Festival and the Bondance International Film Festival in Japan (winner Beste feature).
